Vantiv eCommerce (formerly Litle) Gateway Upgrade: 9.14 → 12.49

We've upgraded our Vantiv eCommerce (formerly Litle) integration to API version 12.49, the current Vantiv eCommerce (formerly Litle) standard unlocking capabilities that the legacy 9.14 API simply can't support. Please refer to the gateway guide.

What's new:

Multiple partial captures - capture a single authorization in multiple parts (Click here)
Spreedly 3DS Global - built-in strong customer authentication (SCA) (Click here)
Enhanced eCheck tracking - deeper visibility into eCheck payment status (Click here)

What this means for you:

New gateway tokens default to 12.49 automatically — no action needed to access these features. Link
Existing accounts continue running on 9.14 with zero disruption — your current payment flows keep working exactly as they do today.
Ready to upgrade? Move to 12.49 to access partial captures, 3DS Global, and expanded eCheck tracking.

Upgrading Process

Upgrading is quick — just 3 steps:

Request new credentials from Vantiv eCommerce (formerly Litle) for API 12.49
Generate a new Spreedly gateway token using those credentials
Validate the connection — run authentication tests, then production tests at your own pace

Important Notice

Support for version 9.14 will be discontinued on October 5, 2026. All merchants must upgrade to version 12.49 before this date to avoid any disruption to payment processing.
