3D Secure (3DS) authentication runs as a two-step process inside a Composer checkpoint: initialization, then execution, triggered on a risk score or rule you define.

• 3DS Global — enable and configure 3DS Global as checkpoint steps
• Decision editor — the fraud-check-before-3DS pattern (score first, only add friction where it's warranted)
