Network Tokenization
The card schemes each have their own set of powerful APIs enabled by tokenization. We refer to this set of actions as Network Tokenization.
The actions of tokenizing a payment method at a card network and transacting with that network token are typically handled as part of the purchase/auth flow for a payment method. But under the hood, Spreedly and the card networks are able to use the abstraction of tokenization to safely provide a host of additional features.
This set of endpoints gives you access to this set of features on an ad hoc basis, rather than as a side-effect of your transaction workflow. It also includes some features that are not available as side-effects elsewhere.
