Upcoming Update to payment_method.card_type Maestro

Date of Change: Feb 12, 2025

Details:Spreedly will update the payment_method.card_type for BIN 504639 from maestro to tarjeta_sol. This update is will apply to both new and existing payment methods from February 12, 2025 forward.

Impact: All existing payment methods associated with BIN 504639 will reflect the new payment_method.card_type value. New payment methods created after this date will automatically use the updated value if created with iFrame v1 or the API. This change will continue to follow the iframe scheduled release process. BIN Metadata will remain unchanged.
