# Remove support for older iframe versions in 3DS flows

**What's new**

Spreedly is deprecating the support on the use of iFrame versions prior to version**v1.156** for [gateway specific 3DS and 3DS Global. ](https://developer.spreedly.com/docs/3ds-solutions) starting May 29, 2025.

**Impact**

This change requires an update to iFrame versions to **v1.156** and above to continue using 3DS flows in transactions.

**iFrame Update**

The update can be done in one of two ways:

1. Alternatively swapping release channels to get the latest version is as easy as changing the asset in the iFrame script tag as shown below?

**Stable:** It is updated on the 2nd Tuesday of the month to match the latest version of iframe-candidate. This is recommended for production use by customers performing testing on candidate.

**Candidate:** Updated on the 1st of each month. This is recommended for users who wish to test upcoming updates to iframe-stable before they reach customers and is not intended for production use.

**v1:** Updates do not come on any set schedule and is recommended for users who want the latest security updates and features as soon as they are available.

2. Directly tag a version required to continue the use of 3DS as shown below:
